(WAND WEATHER) - It was a pleasant Memorial Day for Central Illinois; but gloomier times unfortunately return as early as Tuesday.
Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a few showers possible late overnight; while lows drop into the mid to upper 50s.
Widely scattered showers with a rumble of a thunder possible is in store for Tuesday; as temperatures warm to around 70°.
Another round of hit & miss showers is possible for Wednesday morning, while skies improve to partly sunny in the afternoon in the low 70s.
A stray shower could also linger into Thursday, with highs in the low 70s.
Warmer temperatures make a comeback starting Friday in the upper 70s and 80s return by the weekend with plenty of sunshine.
