DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Saturday! This weekend kicks off on a rainy note with showers and storms expected throughout the day.Â
Showers moving through this morning arrive with a few strong downpours. By late morning, a thunderstorm may pick up with lightning and strong wind gusts, but severe chances are low. Temperatures today will warm to the upper 70s and low 80s behind the warm front.Â
Showers continue through midday. We can’t rule out a strong afternoon storm, but by the late afternoon, heading into dinnertime, rain will take a brief pause. Showers return again late tonight as the last of this cold front comes through, but raindrops will fizzle out overnight.Â
