Showers and storms kick off Father's Day weekend

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Father's Day weekend kicks off with warm and humid conditions, but not as hot as the past two days.

Showers and storms are likely today into early tonight with more scattered showers into Saturday.

Highs today will reach the upper-70s with low-80s Saturday.

A random shower or two can't be ruled out Father's Day, but it'll be mostly dry and warmer with highs in the mid-80s.

Hot and humid weather builds back in early next week with increasing shower and storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be well into the 80s.
