(WAND) - Monday looks to be very warm and sunny as temperatures top out in the mid-to-lower 80's, however, storm chances returns by Tuesday.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms can be expected with majority of the storms forming south of I-72.
The question remains if a layer of warmer air will suppress storm development enough to keep them below severe limits.
Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued a Slight Risk for Tuesday as storms look to develop primarily in the afternoon/evening.
