DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A pair of storms will come knocking on our door. Unfortunately, the way the jet stream is set up, there is no feed of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. So, very limited precipitation is expected overnight and again later this weekend. Â
That said, there is quite a bit of wind over the coming days ... and cold air. This will be the kind of cold air that will put you in a winter mood for sure.
Speaking of winter, the WAND weather team will announce the winter forecast at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. It will be during a half-hour-long special that dives into what we use to forecast the upcoming season. Hope to see you then.Â
