DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Ameren Illinois will hold a Community Development Workshop in Decatur Thursday.Â
The City of Decatur said in a Facebook post Wednesday that the workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Webster Cantrell Hall Youth Advocacy Center.Â
The post said that eligible attendees can earn a $300 bill credit toward their Ameren account by participating in the workshop.Â
Additionally, the post added that Ameren customers with active electric or gas accounts and a household income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level will qualify, and the account holder must attend the workshop in person. Â
Attendees must bring an Ameren bill, a photo ID and proof of income for the last 30 days. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.Â
