DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Boys Like Girls concert scheduled for Sunday, June 29th at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater has been postponed, the venue announced.
Organizers did not give a reason for the cancellation.
Staff at the Devon say they worked closely with the band to reschedule, and the show will now be on Sunday, August 10.
"We know this is heartbreaking for many of you who were counting down the days," the Devon staff said in a Facebook post. "Thank you for your patience, your passion, and your love for live music. The wait will be worth it."
All tickets for the original show will still be valid on the new date. Anyone that cannot make the rescheduled show has 30 days to email the Devon staff at amp@decparks.com.
