DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - If staying up until midnight on New Year's Eve is too tiring for the little ones, then the Children's Museum of Illinois has an alternate solution.Â
Happy Noon Year will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, with the balloon drop happening at noon.Â
Attendees can enjoy various activities, crafts, noisemakers, and the last day of the sock skating rink.Â
Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers.Â
The museum will have a smaller and quieter balloon drop for sensory-sensitive children, with noise-cancelling headphones available on-site.Â
Tickets are available online.Â
