CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - One Champaign restaurant is set to join a list of the top restaurants in the country.
Smith Burger Co. in Champaign announced on Facebook that it will be featured on "America's Best Restaurants," a show dedicated to traveling the United States in search of the top food spots.
According to the show's website, it supports local businesses by choosing hidden gems and hometown favorites in selected communities.
Previous Central Illinois staples selected included Benny's in Decatur, D'arcy's Pint in Springfield, Gabby Goat American Pub and Grill in Effingham, Honey Bee Cafe in Mattoon and Gilbert Street Cafe in Danville.
