CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend is set for the end of the month.
The event will take place from April 24 to 26, 2025, across Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy. This annual event offers a variety of races for all ages and skill levels, including a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and youth run.
The festivities kick off on Thursday, April 24, with the Health & Fitness Expo at the University of Illinois' Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). The expo continues through Friday. Participants are able to pick up race packets, explore fitness exhibits, and engage with health professionals.
The Michael Hogue Team Mile, starts Thursday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. on First Street, north of Kirby Avenue.
On Friday, April 25, the 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30 p.m. The course starts near the State Farm Center on First Street and ends at the 50-yard line of Memorial Stadium.
The main events are scheduled for Saturday, April 26. The marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay start at 7:33 a.m., followed by the 10K at 8:00 a.m. All races start near the State Farm Center and end inside Memorial Stadium.
