DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Danville is set to mark Arbor Day with a celebration at Garfield Park.Â
The event will be held April 24 at 4 p.m. at Garfield Park, 1112 Industrial St. in Danville.Â
The City of Danville in partnership with Trees for Danville was awarded a $1 million grant from the Inflation Reduction Act's USDA Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Program.Â
There will be a tree give away, a coloring contest, and a tree planting demonstration.Â
