DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Decatur is establishing an annual waiting list for waterfowl hunting blinds.
Names for the new waiting list will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis starting July 14 at 10 a.m.

Registration will close at the end of this month.
The new list does not impact hunters who pay their annual blind permit fees on time.
Persons on the new waiting list will be contacted if there are blinds available due to hunters not paying their annual permit fees by the due date.
A new waiting list will be established each year to give waterfowl hunters a more equitable way to obtain permits.
