Decatur Memorial Hospital to host blood drive

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur Memorial Hospital will host a blood drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals.

The blood drive will be from 9 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, November 4 at 2300 North Edward Street, inside Classroom C.

To donate, contact Julie Floyd at (217) 876-5018 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 60703 to locate the drive. Appointments are requested. You may also call ImpactLife at 800-747-5401 to schedule.

Potential donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility, call ImpactLife at (800) 747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before 9/9/25 are eligible to give at this drive.
