DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A Decatur native's film will soon be coming to the big screen.

"Brothers After War," a film directed by Decatur native Jake Rademacher, will have a film screening and seminar from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the AMC Classic Decatur 10 on Mount Zion Road.

According to the film's website, Rademacher reconnects with soldiers and Marines from the Iraq War, and their transition from life on the frontlines to becoming veterans.

Perseverance Productions said in a press release that Rademacher previously had a film, "Brothers At War," where he told an in-depth story of his brothers serving in Iraq and the dangers they faced.

"This return to when my life last made sense, restored me. I learned that coming home is the hardest part of being a warrior. This film has already saved a Veteran’s life. The best part of my generation volunteered to serve us. Come walk with us," Rademacher said in a release.
