(WAND) - The American Red Cross is asking people to level up by donating blood or platelets in November.
The Red Cross says the last two months of the year can be challenging to get enough donations in with people being busy during the holidays.
Donors of all blood types, especially those with types O negative, O positive and B negative blood and those giving platelets are urgently needed.
The Red Cross is teaming up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. to celebrate the 45th anniversary of PAC-MAN.
Everyone who comes to give blood between November 17 and December 7 will get an exclusive pair of Red Cross x PAC-MAN socks, while supplies last.
Those who give blood or platelets during that same time can get a custom Red Cross x PAC-MAN GASHAPON while supplies last.
