DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The fourth annual Harvest Fest is celebrating the changing season with family fun and new events.

The festival will be held from Friday, Oct. 3, to Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Macon County Fairgrounds, and will feature carnival rides, vendors, food trucks, haunted hayrides and a demolition derby.

The hayrides are free and will have kid-friendly and full fright hours. The rides are also kid-friendly from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, and full fright from 7-10 p.m. Saturday. They will be kid-friendly all day Sunday.

The festival is introducing a new family barn this year, which will feature various games, including grain cart basketball, pumpkin bowling and free pumpkin painting.
