DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Caroline Reese and Alivia Colon are taking their latest “Girls Trip” to the golf course!
This time, the WAND Weekend Wake Up duo took a few lessons at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur.
Ladies Only Golf Clinic, hosted by Decatur Park District golf professionals, invites women of all levels of experience to learn golf. Whether they have never stepped foot on a golf course or are looking to improve their game, it's the perfect way to learn a new skill and get some movement in this summer.
For Caroline and Alivia, it was a chance to learn the basics, work on their swings and, of course, have a little fun along the way.
The interactive clinic covers different aspects of the game and allows participants to learn from golf pros in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
The Ladies Only Golf Clinic is offered in four-week sessions on Thursday evenings from 6-7:15 p.m. at Hickory Point. The next session is Thursday.
The cost is $80, or $75 for Decatur Park District residents.
Whether you are a golf beginner or already know your way around the course, the clinic is a chance to learn something new — and maybe enjoy a girls’ night out while doing it. Caroline and Alivia say give it a shot!
