DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Hoover the Gopher Tortoise from the Scovill Zoo visited the WAND news studio on Wednesday.
Hoover makes an apperance ahead of Scovill Zoo's "Shell-ebration" of National Turtle Day on Friday. Hoover was found in Champaign, and re-homed to Scovill Zoo.
The Scovill Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
