DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Macon Resources is gearing up for its annual Field Day on May 15, where it will showcase it's services to the community.

President and CEO Amy Bliefnick says the event allows the community to be able to see the work MRI does. "We really do it just for the community to come out, get to know the people we serve and really focus on the people's abilities, not their disabilities." said Bliefnick. 

MRI will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers, as well as providing entertainment and hosting a kickball game.

The event will run 12 p.m. -2p.m. at the MRI Meaningful Meadows.
