Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce to hold 12th annual Mt. Zion Community Prayer Breakfast

MT. ZION, Ill. (WAND) - The Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce will hold its 12th annual Mt. Zion Community Prayer Breakfast.

The breakfast will be on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Mt. Zion Convention Center, 1400 Village Parkway, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. The doors will open at 6:15 a.m.

The program will include keynote speaker Shane Mendenhall, music and prayer.

Mendenhall lost his parents as a young adult. He will share how his experience of becoming an orphan strengthened his faith over the past 25 plus years. He graduated from Mt. Zion High School and Millikin University before going on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree.

Advance, pre-purchased tickets are required at a cost of $13 and include a breakfast buffet.
