LINCOLN, Ill. (WAND) - Friday night kicks off one of central Illinois' biggest racing weekends at the Lincoln Speedway.

The "Night Before the Mile" brings MOWA 410 sprint cars back to the quarter-mile oval at 7 p.m. for the 23rd year. 

Grandstands will open at 5 p.m., and hot laps will take place at 6 p.m.

Jake Neuman is currently atop the leaderboard with 416 points, a 12-point advantage over Paul Nienhiser (404 points).
