(WAND) — Across the country, Pride Month is celebrated during June to honor the LGBTQIA+ community.
In central Illinois, local organizations will be celebrating with events, and offering resources and trainings this month.

While Springfield's PrideFest took place in May, there are still things happening in the capital city this month.

Dungeons & Dragons | 6-8 pm | OUT on Second, in partnership with Die Hard Games brings more than 35 players together in the land of Sirraka. | Cost is a $5 suggested donation each week of play. Must be registered in advance. Register by emailing outonsecond@gmail.com

Step Into Recovery Group | 5:30-6:30 pm | OUT on Second | This is a LGBTQ+ and allies 12-step recovery group. It is open to anyone struggling with alcohol, chemical, or process addictions.
