DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Dove Inc. annual Christmas Care and Share event has opened registration as they host multiple sign-up events throughout October.
Dove partners with multiple agencies to provide food and toys to families in need around the holiday season.
In order to sign up, parents or guardians need to bring a photo ID and proof that the kids are in the home.
Proof could be a letter from an agency or school verifying the names of the children in the household, a court document stating the person has guardianship, medical cards for children, social security cards, a recent hospital of doctor's bill with the children's names on it, or a printout or screenshot of the student demographic/profile report from the school they attend.
