SULLIVAN, Ill. (WAND) - The Little Theatre on the Square is ready for the summer months after nearly 70 years of putting on productions for the community.

According to the theatre's website, this summer's production schedule is: 

  • "Guys and Dolls" - June 4 to 14
  • "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" - June 9 to 13
  • "Little Shop of Horrors" - June 18 to 28
  • "Greater Tuna" - July 2 to 12
  • "The Very Different Duckling" - July 7 to 11
  • "Annie" - July 16 to 26
  • "Come from Away" - July 30 to Aug. 9
  • "The Reluctant Pirate" - Aug. 4 to 8
  • "Route 66" - Aug. 13 t0 23

Associate Artistic Director and Casting Director Therese Kincade said the team doesn't just put on productions that people will enjoy, they also try to give them a new experience with each show.

"We know our audience, and we know first what they find fun or interesting. But we also try to challenge them a little bit and give them something that maybe they've never seen before, and they appreciate that and enjoy that," Kincade said.
