DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — With Lenten season upon us, churches and restaurants in Central Illinois are serving up fish on Fridays. The Hall at Five-Twenty has brought back their annual fish fry menu for the season.

Customers can choose between walleye, cod, tilapia, or shrimp. All fish fry meals come with coleslaw, rye bread, and your choice of french fries or baked potato.

Kory Beitel, a server at The Hall at Five-Twenty, says he's always excited to see customers come back for their fish fry year after year. "Its a great way for the community to come together, kind of get to know each other, get to know the different things this town has to offer." Beitel remarked.

The fish fry menu will be offered from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Friday until Good Friday. However, if fish doesn't float your boat, their regular menu is still available.
