SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Questioneers Exhibit is helping children transition into Engineers, Architects and more at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
“If you’re into being an engineer you’re going to probably need to have some artistic skills to be able to draw plans or blueprints and things like that. If you’re a scientist you’re going to probably need to have some of that technology background to understand the equipment you’re using.” said Interim Director of Education, Abigail Bussey.
Communications Director Chris Wills says this will not only help children with learning history but also exploring STEAM topics.
“Our director has really wanted to emphasize that the ALPLM is a welcoming place for children as well as adults. We want to let families know there’s a lot to do here.” stated Wills.
The exhibit is set to move to another museum in May. For more information, click here.
