DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Habitat for Humanity in Decatur is working on its 70th home. This one in is the inner-city on E. Johns Ave.
Volunteers from Archer-Daniels-Midland are working on the home putting on a new roof and outdoor siding. The inside is getting restored flooring and a bigger bathroom along with a kitchen overhaul. The company also made a major donation to make the project possible.
The volunteer effort was part of ADM Cares, the company's social investment program.
