DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - An armadillo from the Scovill Zoo visited the WAND news studio on July 8. 

Dozer is a South American species of armadillo. He is a 3-banded armadillo as opposed to the 9-banded armadillo we are used to here in the United States. 

The Scovill Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
