DECATUR- Â 19 year old Taylor Vidmar is a student at Richland Community College and besides knocking her Gen Ed courses out of the way she's been blogging for notable online publications like Huffington Post Teen and most recently, MTV News.
Taylor Vidmar said, "IÂ had been reading the post for a long time and that's how I got started. Just because IÂ read the blog and IÂ saw all these teenagers and high school students doing it and IÂ thought IÂ can do that too IÂ want to write."
After submitting pieces to the MTV Founders category she has since been awarded the title of "Campus Ambassador" for MTV Founders along with 18 other students from across the United States. She along the with ambassadors represent their colleges while also encouraging more young voices to be heard through blog articles.
Vidmar says, "It's really about sharing our stories and how young people feel and what we are going through in this world today."
