Chophouse on Main in Mahomet announces closure

MAHOMET, Ill. (WAND) - Chophouse on Main in Mahomet is shutting its doors.

The restaurant took to social media to announce it will be closing this weekend on Saturday, March 29.

The restaurant, located at 401 E. Main St., opened in 2022. They said they are looking for a new location to move to.

"It is with mixed emotions that we announce our time at 401 E Main Street in Mahomet will come to an end on March 29th," the restaurant posted. "While this chapter is closing, our passion for our product, service, and concept remains as strong as ever. After careful review, we made the decision not to renew our lease at this location. We are pleased to share that we are actively searching for a new location and look forward to sharing updates with you as our journey continues."

Any restaurant gift cards for Chophouse can be redeemed at CRS Hospitality's other locations.
