(WAND) - After another brutally cold day, relief is on the way to central Illinois.
 
 
Lows this morning were generally below zero to around zero.  However, the brisk winds made it feel like -12° to -27°.

A "Cold Weather Advisory" remains in effect through this afternoon and another one will go into effect this evening and tonight.

McLean County is under an "Excessive Cold Warning" for "feels like" readings of -25° to -30°!
 
Highs today will only be in the single digits, and we'll drop back to near zero this evening and then temperatures will start rising overnight.  However, once again, the winds will make it feel much colder.

A warming trend kicks in Wednesday through Friday with highs in the upper-20s and we'll reach 40° by Saturday!
 
We could see some light snow Wednesday evening with accumulations less than an inch.
