Champaign - Restaurants may start displaying their health inspections based on a color-coded sign.
Â
The sign would let customers know how clean and safe the place they are eating at is. A Champaign County Public Health official suggests posting a green, yellow or red notice on the front door, which would indicate the results of the restaurant's most recent health inspection.
Â
It is a new proposal from the Champaign County Public Health Department and CU Public Health. They will consider the proposal at a study session on October 28th.
