DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Macon County Coroner is releasing more information about the death of an 87-year-old man who crashed in Decatur on Christmas Day.
Coroner Michael Burkham said Donald Crawley, Sr. of Decatur died from natural causes, which caused him to crash on U.S. 36 East and 36th St. in Decatur.Â
DPD Spokesman Sgt. Steve Hagemeyer said Crawley was in a pickup truck and went off the road and hit two utility poles and a sign. His pickup then crossed all lanes of the road and hit two more utility poles before coming to a stop.
