NOKOMIS, Ill. (WAND) - Christian County officials are working to clean up beans spilled all over the road near Nokomis. 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office posted to Facebook Thursday night, showing beans coating County Highway 1 just south of IL Route 48.

The sheriff's office told WAND News that crews are working to clean up the scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area. 

No further details were provided as to what caused the mess.
