SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Springfield police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Monday afternoon. 

The Springfield Police Department said that one person had been shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital. 

Their condition is unknown at this time.

The shooting is under investigation.
