DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man killed in a shooting in Decatur Friday night has been identified. 

The incident happened near North Illinois Street and East Prairie Avenue around 10 p.m. The crime scene was not far from A1 Grocery and Shark's restaurant. 

Several videos and comments on social media showed a large police presence and yellow crime scene tape stretching across the street. 

Police told WAND News, when officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man, later identified by the Macon County Coroner as Garrett Wilson of Decatur, who was shot dead outside of the home. 

Police are still searching for a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
