DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Police are investigating after officers found over 20 shell casings in the front yard of a home Saturday night.
The Decatur Police Department said officers responded to reports of gunshots near the intersection of North Dennis Avenue and West Harrison Avenue just after 11:45 p.m.
According to police, officers found about 27 shell casings from four different calibers of handgun in the front yard of a home on North Dennis Avenue.
DPD told WAND News that there have been no reported injuries. No arrests have been made.
