DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The second of three suspects has been sentenced for his role in the shooting death of Cameron Taylor in 2023.
Jarvis McClelland pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and will spend 20 years in prison.
In February 2023, Decatur police responded to a shooting on the city's east side, where they found Taylor with gunshot wounds.
Kearius Evans accepted a plea deal and was sentenced back in November 2024.
Markiya Currie-Willis has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and was sentenced to 30 month probation.
