DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -Â More road improvements are on the way in Decatur.Â
The Decatur City Council is expected to approve nearly $3.8 million in state motor fuel tax funding for upgrades on North Monroe, East Cantrell, and East William streets.Â
City officials said the work will rehabilitate more than six lane miles of roadway.Â
This comes on top of another $3.1 million road improvement package approved earlier this year.Â
The council meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday.Â
