CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Champaign Unit 4 Board of Education unanimously voted Monday night to add a proposal on November's ballot to issue bonds.

Voters will decide whether to approve $192 million in bonds, divided into two bond sales.

It will take about 20 years to repay the bond and interest. District leaders said there will be no change to homeowners' tax rate.

The bonds would pay for upgrades at Garden Hills, International Prep Academy and special education classrooms. They would also pay to build a fourth middle school.

Champaign voters will cast their ballots on Nov. 3.
