SHELBY COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - An emergency alert has been issued for an area south of Shelbyville.Â
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office requested Shelby County Emergency Management Agency issue an emergency alert Monday morning.Â
Copeland Road, 1800 East, has been closed directly south of Shelbyville due to an emergency situation. People are being told to avoid the area.Â
WAND News called both Shelby County EMA and the sheriff's office. Both said no further information could be released at this time.Â
