One former Decatur cop now faces federal child pornography charges.
A federal grand jury indicted 43 year old Matthew Aukamp of Macon on two counts of possessing and one count of producing child porn. Aukamp is accused of coercing a minor to perform sex acts for the purpose of making child porn between 2004 and 2008.
Aukamp will remain in jail until his trial, which is scheduled to begin June 14.
Aukamp was arrested in January in Macon County for predatory criminal sexual assault and violating an order of protection. His next hearing on those charges is in May.
Aukamp left the Decatur Police Department in 2000 after ten years as a patrol officer.
