SPRINGFIELD, IL - It's a great day to go to the zoo, in more ways than one.
Admission is free is today at Springfield's Henson Robinson Zoo's Zoofari. The fun packed day goes from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Throughout the day, the animals will receive special enrichment treats, which encourage species typical behaviors and activity. Additional activities going on throughout the day include animal programs, zookeeper chats and more. Vendors will also be on site for the festivities.
The zoo is located at 1100 East Lake Drive. Due to road construction, please use East Lake Drive to access the zoo.
