VERMILION COUNTY - For the first time in 15 years, hot air balloons are flying over the Vermilion County countryside.
Officials say "Balloons Over Vermilion" is providing several opportunities for residents to get an up-close look at these hot air balloons. The event is being held at the Vermilion County Regional Airport.
We've included a list of scheduled events for July 15 below:
- 3:00 p.m.: Gates Open
- 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.: Balloon Photo Fun
- 4:30 p.m.: Sponsors Tents Open
- 5:00 p.m.: Band - Steve Rodman & Rodman Rail
- 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.: Tethered Balloon Rides
- 6:30 p.m.: Balloon Fly-out
- 7:00 p.m.: Band - Chad Hays Boat Drink Caucus
- 8:30 p.m.: Balloon Glow
- 9:00 p.m.: Band - 90's Daughter
- 11:00 p.m.: Gates Close
- 12:00 a.m.: Grounds Close
