ST. JOSEPH, Ill. (WAND) — Interstate 74 westbound between Ogden and St. Joseph has reopened after two crashes.
Around 11 a.m. Friday morning, ISP troopers responded to a crash involving two semi-trailers, that shut down westbound lanes and rerouted traffic off the interstate at milepost 197.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Immediately following the semi crash, police say, a secondary crash occurred involving a white Chevrolet SUV.
Another individual was taken to the hospital due to the secondary crash.
At this time no further information has been released.
