CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The streets of Champaign-Urbana will soon be taken over by runners, as the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon is set for April 24-26.
The race is held annually, and can qualify runners for the Boston Marathon.
Jan Seeley, the race director for the Illinois Marathon, says they need around 400 more volunteers to help out with the race.
Anyone interested in signing up should go to the Illinois Marathon website.
