DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Decatur Saturday night.
The Decatur Police Department told WAND News that it happened at the intersection of Eldorado and 22nd Streets just after 10 p.m.Â
DPD said the crash involved a car and a pickup truck.
Pictures taken by a WAND photojournalist show one of the vehicles lying on its side after the crash.
One person was taken to the hospital with a "pretty serious injury," but is expected to recover, according to police.
It is unclear what led to the crash, and police had no more information to share at this time.
