DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — An opening day is officially set for the new Jersey Mike's coming to Decatur, and the chain will partner with a local non-profit during its opening week.
The restaurant chain's new location coming to 230 W. Mound Rd. will open on March 11. Jersey Mike's is also partnering with Macon Resources (MRI), a disability services and support organization in Decatur.
From March 11-15, if customers mention MRI at check out, Jersey Mike's will donate 15% of the sale to the non-profit to support their programs that help people with developmental disabilities. Customers using the app can use promo code "JMGIVES" at check out.
MRI also said people can reach out to them and ask for "$3 sub cards" to be used from March 11-15. For a $3 donation to MRI, Jersey Mike's will give customers a sub sandwich.
The new store location has not yet posted what its hours will be.
Jersey Mike's sells sub sandwiches and has more than 4,000 locations nationwide.
