Decatur Park District seeks help finding stolen maintenance vehicle

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Decatur Park District is asking for the public's help in finding a vehicle that was stolen from them.

According to the park district, a Toro Workman 2100 was stolen from the Graceland Baseball Fields. They said it has the number 603 on the front of it, which could be damaged or covered.

According to the district, the vehicle was last seen driving toward Taylor and Olive Streets.

"This vehicle is vital to maintaining our youth baseball and softball programs, and without it, our ability to support these programs will be seriously impacted," the district said in a Facebook post.

The park district said other items were also taken related to youth baseball and softball, including a "large number" of baseball hats associated with the St. Louis Cardinals and Redbird Rookies.
