DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Decatur will host a touch-a-truck equipment show in recognition of National Public Works Week.

The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. Monday, May 18, in front of the Decatur Civic Center. 

Those interested can view and climb inside the City's grapple truck, tree truck, backhoe, end loader, street sweeper, dump truck, hammer truck, valve truck, hydro excavator and much more. 

Attendees will also learn about the inner workings of the City's vehicles and equipment. 

This event will be free to the public.

National Public Works Week is set for May 17 to 23.
